Providence batches
Providence has a lot of colleges, restaurants, makers, small agencies, nonprofits and independent shops, and many of them record talks, panels, classes and podcasts. Typical requests are monthly Reels and Shorts from a lecture series or podcast, short clips from events and panels, and vertical cut-downs of YouTube videos.
Long recordings from classrooms and event rooms often have the speaker far from the camera and sound from a room mic. If the sound desk recorded its own track, send it. A cleaner voice track makes a bigger difference in a short than in the full recording, because people hear it through a phone speaker.
New England winters cut daylight short, and older buildings can be dim inside. We lift exposure and balance color so clips from a bright summer session and a dark winter one sit together in the same feed.
How a Providence batch runs
- You share the recordings and say how many shorts you want each month.
- We send a written quote and agree a monthly delivery date.
- Each month you get a pick list of moments, then the finished clips on a review link.
- You leave notes, we make the changes, and the files arrive sized and named for each app.
All of it happens online. Recordings come in through a shared folder, clips go back as review links, and calls are booked in Eastern time. We don't have an office in Providence, and the work doesn't need one.

Questions
Do you meet clients in Providence?
No. We work by email, review links and video calls booked in Eastern time.
Can you cut shorts from a recorded lecture or panel?
Yes. Send the full recording and any slides. We'll find moments that work on their own and reframe them to vertical.
Ask for a quote
Cost depends on how many shorts you want each month, how long and how clean the source recordings are, the caption style, and how many platforms need their own version. Every batch plan gets its own written quote before work starts.
