Monthly shorts batches

A fixed number of vertical clips every month, cut from the recordings you already make, captioned, and named so they drop straight into your scheduler.

What a batch is

A batch is one month of short vertical videos, delivered together. You pick the number when we quote. Some accounts want two clips a week, some want one a day on weekdays. We agree a delivery date each month, and the batch arrives on that date as a folder of finished files plus a sheet with the hook, caption text and suggested posting week for each clip.

Why monthly works

Editing shorts one at a time, whenever there's a spare hour, tends to stall. A monthly rhythm fixes that. You record as usual through the month, drop the files into the shared folder, and we cut from everything at once. Working across several recordings also gives us more to choose from, so the weak moments get left out instead of padding the count.

How a month runs

  1. Recordings go into the shared folder as you make them.
  2. We watch the new footage and send a pick list: each moment with its time, a draft hook and a line on why it works.
  3. You tick, cross out or add moments.
  4. We cut, caption and reframe the chosen clips and send them on a review link.
  5. You leave notes, we make the changes, and the final files go into the delivery folder.

The pick list is the step that saves the most back-and-forth. Changing your mind about a moment costs nothing at that stage, and much more after a clip is captioned.

Keeping the account consistent

In the first month we set up a short style sheet: caption font and color, where the captions sit, how the first frame looks, whether there's an end card, and any words that always need the same spelling. Every batch after that follows it, so your feed looks like one account even when the source recordings vary.

Mixing formats inside a batch

A batch doesn't have to be all the same kind of clip. A typical mix is a few single-speaker moments, a couple of back-and-forth exchanges, one or two clips with a screen recording, and a quick tip under 20 seconds. If one format starts to do well for you, tell us and the next batch leans that way.

Questions

What if a month has less footage than usual?

We'll tell you when we send the pick list. You can top it up with older recordings, record a few short pieces, or take a smaller batch that month.

Can I change the number of clips later?

Yes. Say so before the next month starts and we'll send an updated quote.

Do you write the post captions too?

We send a draft caption line for each clip based on what's said in it. You can use it, edit it or write your own.
